We've been film critics for decades, and we are here to talk about anything we want, but mostly movies.

Basically.

How are you this morning?

I'm good.

I'm a little, you know, as always,

frazzled and frantic.

Is it a hard candy Christmas for you?

It's fine and dandy.

L.A. Film Critics votes tomorrow,

and I always go into this meeting thinking like I haven't seen enough stuff.

That I should be talking about with the votes.

I mean, I've seen a lot of films that I like, but everybody's always bringing up these other titles that I haven't seen.

And the thing I always have to remind myself is the people bringing up the titles I haven't seen, have not seen certain things that I have seen.

So it all sort of comes out in the wash.

It is virtually impossible for any one person

to see every film that is released in a year.

Unless you are Daniel Waters and just live at the movies.
