I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and uneventful Thanksgiving. I hope you experienced some

moment of spontaneous gratitude. And if you didn't, I hope you didn't feel some kind of guilt.

Not feeling something that people are telling you, you're supposed

to feel, you're supposed to shove it out of yourself, like you're constipated, like inside of you

are all these gross clumps of gratitude. Isn't it the worst, the gratitude police, when the

Thanksgiving police come a knocking.

Oh, this is the time to be thankful.

Fuck you.

Don't tell me when to be thankful.

I'll be thankful when I'm thankful.

You can't just spontaneously create thankfulness.

This awful tyrannical new spirituality where there demands that you be grateful and thankful or you're somehow being blasphemous.

It's nonsense.

Ridiculous.

Feel the way you feel.

If you feel thankful, then great.

If you don't, great, you get to be you.

Don't let some puffed up ayahuasca slurping crystal wearing fake smile having tattoo-faced pseudo-shaman tell you to be thankful when you don't feel it.

But I do hope you did feel true thanks on this Thanksgiving because don't we have
