1st Kings chapter 3 verse 28 and all Israel heard of the judgment that the king had

rendered and they stood in awe of the king

because they perceived that the wisdom of God was in him to do justice.

This to do justice. This summary of Solomon's leadership of his wisdom as judge is so powerful. When you think about Solomon's prayer in First

Kings that God give him wisdom, God said I'll give you anything you ask and

Solomon said please give me wisdom and God was pleased with that prayer. God is

pleased when we ask for wisdom and let's be honest we need it you need it I need it like

this is a no brainer not one of us is as wise as God. Not one of us has his knowledge, his perspective, his

experience, all the things that affect our wisdom.

I mean, how many times do we make a decision

and then we find out some new information later

that would have affected that decision?

And we say, oh, if I would have known that, I wouldn't have affected that decision and we say oh if I would have known that I

wouldn't have made that decision because we lack knowledge we lack wisdom

perspective how many times do we do something we don't realize how it's going

affect somebody else in this particular way and we think,

oh, if I'd have known that, I wouldn't have done it.

Our perspective is limited.

And so is our experience?

I mean, how often do we go through a situation, we make some decisions that later prove to be not wise, we learn from that and the next time we're in that decision we think,

okay I'm going to make a different decision here because I've learned from experience.
