First Kings chapter 3, verse 28,

and all Israel heard of the judgment that the king had rendered,

and they stood in awe of the king,

because they perceived that the wisdom of God was in him to do justice.

This summary of Solomon's leadership of his wisdom as judge is so powerful.

When you think about Solomon's prayer in First Kings that God give him wisdom,

God said, I'll give you anything you ask. And Solomon said, please give me wisdom. And God was

pleased with that prayer. God is pleased when we ask for wisdom. And let's be honest, we need it.

You need it, I need it.

Like this is a no-brainer.

Not one of us is as wise as God.

Not one of us has his knowledge, his perspective, his experience, all the things that affect our wisdom. I mean, how many

times do we make a decision and then we find out some new information later that would have

affected that decision? And we say, oh, if I would have known that, I wouldn't have made that

decision. Because we lack knowledge, we lack wisdom, perspective. How many times do we do something? We don't realize how it's going to affect somebody else in this particular way. And we think, oh, if I had known that, I wouldn't have done it. Our perspective is limited. And so is our experience. I mean, how often do we go through a situation? We make some decisions that later proved to be not wise,

we learn from that, and the next time we're in that decision, we think, okay, I'm going to

make a different decision here, because I've learned from experience. So we think about God then.

He has all knowledge. He never says, well, I didn't know that. If I'd have known that,

I would have done it differently. He has all perspective. He sees

things from total perspective. Every single person on the planet, not just every person on the planet now,

but everything in all history. He sees all of it. And his experience is, well, infinite. He has
