Thank you so much for checking out this episode of Cruise Radio. Very happy to have you here, my friend. We are sailing aboard Carnivals Mardi Gras this week. Yeah, it's their brand new mega ship coming in at 180,000 gross registered tons on the very first. They're calling it a pre-inaugural sailing, so we'll just say the maiden voyage. No cruise news this week, but I do

0:57.2	And she's been on a couple of sailing since the whole industry reboot thing has occurred.

1:03.6	Hey, Ashley.
1:04.5	Hey, Doug.
1:05.5	Okay, so like I just mentioned, you've been on a couple of sailings before.
1:09.6	What is this ship like as far as like the
1:12.8	protocols, the crowds and everything compared to the other three or four sailings you've done
1:17.4	prior? And what lines were they? I have done two cruises on celebrity and one with Royal Caribbean
1:23.1	in the past two months or so. So this is my fourth. I will say this one is a bit more crowded.
1:29.2	It's at 70% capacity. The others were under 25%. So it's a big jump and I was not prepared for that.
1:36.9	There are also fewer protocols on board this sailing in terms of mask wearing and social distancing.
1:43.6	That is to say, passengers are required to be
1:46.6	vaccinated, though. They're sailing with a minimum of 95% vaccination rate on this ship right now.
1:53.7	But I guess because of that, they are a little more lax with those things I just mentioned.
1:58.5	They're also not requiring vaccinated passengers to be tested before we disembark at the end of the sailing.
2:04.4	So that's different from the other voyages that I was on as well.
2:08.6	And it's interesting because earlier today, as we're taping this, so on Wednesday afternoon, Carnival Cruise Line,
