And today we're going to be continuing our Staffordshire Horde project, and we're going

to be talking to an archaeologist who was involved in the first dig.

Not only that, but you might have watched the news recently and noticed that there was

new stuff coming out of the Staffordshire Horde.

That's because there was a second Client of Stein dig.

And our guest was involved in that one as well.

So this is a really fun episode for me because I get to do something that podcasts almost

never get to do, and definitely history podcasts almost never get to do.

I get to deal with breaking news.

Unfortunately, the inquest is still going on and we'll continue until January 4th.

So until that's completed, Stephen won't be able to talk to us about his opinions and

the findings regarding the most recent dig.

But he was quite involved in the first dig and that really was the larger and more substantial

dig.
