Well, my guest today is Richard G. Howe.

He's a writer and a public speaker and debater in churches and conferences, university campuses,

and he talks and debates about issues concerning Christian apologetics and philosophy.

He's professor emeritus of philosophy and apologetics at Southern Evangelical Seminary

in Charlotte, which if you've listened to the podcast for any amount of time, you've heard

me talk about SES, which had such an integral part of my reconstruction and just helping

me to answer some of the questions that I had when I was going through a time of doubt.

And so he still teaches part time there.

He's the past president of the International Society of Christian apologetics.

And in their free time, Richard and his lovely and just delightful wife Rebecca enjoy

international travel.

And so Richard, I'm so glad that you're here today.

We've gotten to hang out a bit at the Frank Turks Cross-examined Instructor Academy and

it got to meet your lovely, like I said, just delightful wife Rebecca, who is just wonderful.

And today we're going to talk about philosophy.

And I think we were chatting about this a bit before we went on the air.

But for some Christians, I think the word philosophy is really misunderstood.

I know it was for me growing up in the Evangelical Church.
