My name is Kirk Hamilton, and we have got a pretty fun show for you this week.

Jason Schreier is not with us this week.

He's off in Bookland, which is the land you visit when you are writing a book.

I am joined in his stead by Kotaku's own Luke Plunkett, our man in Australia, who is here to talk to me about a lot of different things.

We're going to talk about the Nintendo Switch and find out what Luke thinks of it.

We're going to talk just a bit about Resident Evil 7, which I've played just enough of to feel freaked out and a little

nauseous. We're going to spend a lot of time talking about Yakuza Zero, a tremendous new PS4 game

that's out, and we'll talk a little bit about PC strategy games too. Stick around.

Jason is gone this week off working in Bookland, and we have a very worthy substitute for him in another Kotaku editor who we had on the show, I think last almost a year ago maybe.

Mr. Luke Plunkett from Australia. Hi, Luke. How's it going? Hi, Kirk. I'm good. How are you?

I am doing pretty good. I'm feeling a little bit queasy right now because of the game I was just playing,

which we can get into in a second, but I'm generally, I'm generally doing pretty well.

How is the weather where you are

right now? It's a heat wave as opposite as that sounds to what you guys are probably going through right now.

Yeah, it's been, I don't know, the Fahrenheit conversion, but it's been very hot for a week. So I'm

just bunkered down in my office right now, enjoying a nice iced coffee trying to keep cool.

Yeah, I'm noticing that you're wearing a jersey with no sleeves where it's certainly warmer in

Portland now, but we've recovered from our snowpocalypse that happened about a week ago,
