welcome back to another episode of the Truth Seekers podcast.

A Truth Seaker is someone who wants to know the truth.

They search for what's true and they won't rest until they

where we will search for truth each week in the stories of the Bible.

We have been learning about David.

David had been anointed king by Samuel

when he was just a teenager.

He had fought the giant Goliath and won. He had been invited into the courts of

King Saul to serve him and play his heart for him. God was with David and gave

him favor in everything he did.

But as time passed, the circumstances of David's life began to change.

As King Saul grew more and more jealous, he became increasingly angry and determined to kill David.

In today's story, we are going to see how things only get worse for David.

David was watching his world crumble and fall apart.
