Greetings, everybody.

This is Rich Wilson, and welcome to fantasy baseball live.

It's a somber day.

It's Friday the 13th, and boy, it's a weird day that ended a very, very eventful week and kind of a weird week as the world finally or the U.S.

finally came to grips with this pandemic called COVID-19, the coronavirus, which Tim and I, I think, started talking about this in the middle of January.

And just not in a joking matter, but in a lighthearted manner was, you know, was this going to become a pandemic?

And sure enough, it has.

And it has stopped pretty much everything in the united states including you know the game

that we all love in baseball and it seems trivial to talk about baseball at this junction but yeah that's

that's what i do for a living and um so i'm here to have a podcast it's just me today tim is still

working his way back from his vacation, which I think started in the middle of February.

So he's gone for a full month.

And he was supposed to be in New York City this weekend with Tout Wars.

But Tout Wars got canceled and Tim

changed his plan and hightailed it back to Canada.

Worried he actually called me, I think, on Wednesday, wondering if my opinion, you know,

was would they close the borders and things like that?

I didn't think so between the United States and Canada, but, you know, you just didn't know.

And we still don't know exactly everything that's going to go down.

Because, I mean, obviously they've canceled flights coming in from Europe.

And as Europe has turned into a hotspot in other areas as well, China is still, I think, on the no-fly into zone.

So Tim pretty much high-tailed it back to Canada, and I think rightfully so.
