Dennis Miller Live on HBO was kind of a big deal for my career.

You know, I did it for 10 years.

The apprentice was going at that time.

So we had, as our guest, Donald Trump.

And Melania came in.

And I just remember because we were in this small little studio,

and Trump basically came in and looked around like,

what the fuck is this?

All of a sudden, Dennis came in and said,

Johnny Carson passed away.

Do you want to go over to see the Tonight Show tonight? They're kind of doing, you know, a memorial. Then the two guests are going to be Don Rickles and Bob Newhart. So we go to the Tonight Stone. We go to the Green Room backstage. And then there's, you know, Rickles is there. Newhart is there, and there's also Gilbert Godfrey.
