We are fortunate to be joined by Jared Bernstein of Bernstein outdoor sales.

Jared is the territory manager for vortex optics.

Jared is a marine. We've had him on the podcast before. optics. doing this not great to be back thank you jay yeah jard like we talked on the last

podcast for those that didn't listen to that podcast give a little bit of a

background your military service and then how that led into what you're doing now.

Sure. Yeah, I did some time in the Marine Corps, four years, a little less than four years, I guess,

if you're counting days and seconds, but I was fortunate to do a deployment in 2010 supporting operation during freedom.

Which is a good time.

We did some good work, brought everybody home, which we're thankful for.

And then I got in the security world, did a little bit of private security deal for executive. thankful for

executives and then I got in the security world, did a little bit of private security deal for

executives and stuff like that and then decided to focus on family and

started working at a local retailer here in Arizona and just met reps and met manufacturers and have just kind of been fortunate to climb the ladder a little bit in the industry and now I'm in what I would consider a massive blessing in this position. I get to control my destiny a little bit and work

with some really cool accounts.

So with what you do now, you in essence have an umbrella and you have lots of different manufacturers

under that umbrella that you rep. I do. And that is something that you know you could

from my perspective it opens up doors that you can go in lots of different directions
