I think it is 11 years now, a podcasting. It's one of my favorite things to do is showcase the, you know, the N-Sung Heroes back there, you know?

You have those rock stars, those big, big personality drummers, but then you have the people that are just the killers and the nerds nerd out on it.

And my guest today, talk about nerd and out, one of the great, great session drummers of the last 25 years easily, maybe longer, 30.

If I did the, did the math before the intro, but I didn't. From the Bay Area, an old friend of mine, Michael Urbano. Now, some of you are going like, hmm, haven't heard of him. Maybe I'll check out a different episode.

I said, no, no, no, because I'm going to tell you right now, this guy is a legend and he has played on legendary records. And not only that, he has been in some incredible bands.

He started out in Sacramento, bourgeois tag, getting a record deal, unbelievable Todd Rungerin produces their second record. They fizzle apart.

He joins Todd Rungerin's band from there. He's playing with Cracker.

He joins John Hyatt, gets out on the road, just killing it, making some big money. Then he pops into a little 90s group called Smash Mout that has some of the biggest radio hits ever. Unbelievable.

This guy is played on Third Eye Blinds records, Cheryl Crow, Paul Westaber, Black Lab, Death Ray, Red House Painters, camper van Beethoven. It goes on and on and on. I mean, this guy is on a lot of hit records.

And now he is out with his hero playing drums on the road with the legendary Fleetwood Mac Master himself, Lindsey Buckingham. They're at Torin right now. They're going all around the States, catch him. Look it up. This guy's episode is fire.

And you can tell we get fired up when we're talking about Bay Area Rockman. We are just punching each other. No, no, no, no, what about this? Yeah, but what about that? It's a wild ride. And it was so, so great to catch up with this guy. Had not seen him in years. Just a fantastic guess.
