Hello friends! After taking a week off, we decided to come back on the podcast this week to have a conversation not solely focused on the negative side of all that's going on in our world, but how we can positively affect our surroundings for lasting change in the days ahead of us. Empathy and compassion are going to be the key components for unifying mankind together in the times to come. Our hope is that we can inspire you to listen quicker than you speak, and to love and show compassion without conditions. This is a heavy episode filled with a lot of different components, we hope you learn something new!

0:00.0	Hey guys, welcome back to another episode of the Encounter Now podcast. We took a break last week,
0:05.3	and I think a lot of people have taken a breath from just posting all the time on social
0:10.2	media and really trying to learn and look inward towards ourselves in this time and what we're
0:17.1	thinking, what we're feeling. This episode might challenge some of you, and actually,
0:22.6	I think it will challenge a lot of you. It's challenging us currently in the season of life that we're in,
0:28.3	and I think that a lot of people are looking towards their motives and their hearts and just
0:35.7	trying to see, okay, well, am I truly allowing myself to be
0:40.1	searched by God in this time? And we just want to bring this conversation together around unity,
0:46.4	what that looks like, and just the racism that has gone on for far too long and how our voices
0:53.8	as individuals and our hearts as individuals,
0:58.4	they have an impact when we are able to take it inward and to be able to just address it inwardly and
1:05.1	then go outward. So I hope that this challenges you, but also leads you towards a different direction of searching and
1:12.7	looking and allowing the Lord to look inside your heart and moving in that direction. So there's a lot
1:18.2	to be said. There's a lot of things that we say in this podcast, but we hope that it moves you
1:23.1	in the right direction and that maybe you have some thoughts provoked after this and we just
1:30.5	are really thankful for you guys. So without further ado, let's go ahead and get into this episode, guys. So we're not really necessarily excited about this episode, but we know that it is a necessary one.

2:08.5	and how racism is being exposed and how people are just tying politics to it. There's just so many
