Welcome back to the peripheral. I want to give you guys some updates. I have taken the podcast and joined

Arclight Media. You might hear some advertisements. I will do my best to make sure that they are

appropriate and tasteful. This move comes as a way to hopefully motivate me to get on a schedule,

have deadlines, and have the help of Arclight to help me produce the episodes

and get them out on a timely fashion.

So with that, today I talk to Callie.

She's a very nice person.

Being nice and compassionate is what we all strive for,

if only coming from a place of caring and understanding

could come from both sides.

Sadly, us nice ones can be taken advantage of,

walked over, and become targets of abuse.

Abuse comes in many shapes and forms. It's not always physical. So when you're listening to Callie, if you hear any similarities in your relationship, whether it's controlling, belittling, or just someone taking advantage of your

living situation or financials, please know that what you're going through is not right,

and these are not the traits of a healthy relationship.
