When 25-year-old Nicola Edgington savagely butchered her very own mother, the public were horrified.

This was a woman that should be locked away for a very long time, for the safety of the rest of the community.

But in a shocking turn of events, she was let out of psychiatric care just three years later.

Nicola pleaded with doctors and police for help with her psychotic episodes,

warning that if she didn't get help soon, she might do something dangerous. She'd killed

someone once before and she could feel that she was ready to do it again. It was only

a matter of time and she was begging someone to stop her. Today we're going to be talking

about Nicola Edgington, the infamous killer known as the

Bexley Heath Butcher.
