Summary

In a culture obsessed with control, performance, and platform, this episode is a call back to quiet strength, the kind of strength that doesn’t clamor for recognition but kneels to serve.

This Monday Meditation explores what it truly means to lead as Jesus did: not from the front of the room, but from the floor with a towel in hand. We dismantle the world’s version of leadership and return to the ancient, sacred pattern of sacrifice, humility, and obedience.

Real leadership isn’t loud, it's faithful. It’s not about being seen, it's about serving well even when no one’s looking.

If you’ve ever wondered whether your pouring out matters, this episode will remind you: God sees. And what is done in secret will not be wasted.

This is for the man who is tired of striving and ready to lead from surrender. This is for the woman praying for the men in her life to rise in holy strength. This is for the servant-hearted who need to remember: you’re exactly where God works best.

We hope that you enjoy this episode.

Hey everyone, welcome to another episode of Monday Meditations. To start the week off right,

0:05.6

the phrase we're going to be meditating on is bending to serve. Today we're stepping into a

0:13.0

countercultural conversation about leadership, particularly the kind of leadership that God

0:18.9

calls us into. And it's not the loud kind, not the polished kind,

0:23.3

but it's the kind that bends low. It's the kind that listens deeply and bleeds quietly in the

0:30.0

background while others are lifted up. And there's the kind of person this world just doesn't know

0:35.6

what to do with. They don't dominate a room,

0:38.3

they don't demand attention, they aren't driven by ego or platform or applause, but instead

0:45.3

this kind of person, they lead from the back row. They wash the feet. They carry the burdens.

0:52.3

They lead by becoming less. And this kind of person is not weak.

0:56.7

This is not a weakness. They are submitted. And in all honesty, that type of submission, that

1:02.8

type of obedience makes them dangerous to darkness and indispensable to heaven's work on earth.

1:09.8

And we often confuse leadership with charisma and dominance and visibility,

1:15.4

but scripture tells a different story.

1:18.6

Jesus are Jesus, the only perfect leader the world has ever seen,

1:23.0

never led from fear or pride.

1:26.2

He led by dying on the cross and obedience. He laid down his

1:30.8

rights. He laid down his body. He laid down his life. And he asked us to follow him. Not to admire

1:38.5

him, not to applaud him, but to follow him. And that's where it gets uncomfortable because true leadership doesn't start on a stage.

1:47.3

It starts in secret, unseen places of sacrifice and surrender.

1:52.2

It could be in the hallway where your spouse is crying because they had a tough day or in the

1:56.5

dark room where your child is doubting.
