deep and painful transition. I lost my father, my soulmate six months ago.

There have been a couple other big losses the past couple of years and I've

stayed devoted to my past the best I can to honor all the grief. Doing the

rituals, saying my prayers to my ancestors crying under the moon, except

surrender and try to accept some more. I'm seeing a therapist where I can and

leaning on friends and mentors. I like the way you talk about balance because

that's how I feel it. You can do the best you can do but there's no guarantee

of anything. There's no promise that things will get better. That being said, I've

reached a point where my old coping patterns of hurting myself have popped up
