They're buying into a glamour. Everybody wants to own a restaurant.

When you open your staff costs are way too high, you're past, you know, your wastage on everything's too high.

Stuff's getting in there because you haven't got all the control procedures probably in.

Naturally enough, you probably drink too much. I mean, drinking is, you know, you endemic, occupational hazard.

You know, so you tend to try and sort of lock the stress out of it. I was so entrenched, so determined

to make it work at all costs that I missed several opportunities to get out when I could have done.

I think I borrowed a million of Bankers Scott.

I should never have taken that on.

You've got to know when to cut your losses.

You know, everybody was telling me at the time,

you know, if you've got something that's hemorrhaging like that,

just get out.

Because you're really stressed as well.

You're in a sort of deep stress situation every day as hell.

So you're not thinking straight. I got crippled,

not just financially, but reputation wise. Emotionally, you know, that just totally, you know,

not be six really.
