Remy, welcome to the podcast. We'll do a formal introduction, but like I wanted to get this out of the way because this is just what I've been dealing with for the past few days, and I don't know if you know about this about me. I have like battled with psoriasis in my past. I get this I have this

condition called gutate psoriasis which is a form of psoriasis only like

less than a third of people who have it, battle with it.

And it's brought on after you have strep throat, you have an outbreak of psoriasis.

And this has only happened like two times in my life, one time when I was in college, and then one time in 2019, after Coachella, I got strep throat and had a bad outbreak and it like it ruined my summer.

It just kicks you when you're already down.

Yes, it becomes completely inflamed.

It almost looks like chicken pox, like really splotchy chicken pox and so I had a sore throat about two

three weeks ago and I didn't think anything of it. I got out of the shower last

Friday and I was having an outbreak and I got really scared because the big

thing is the medication I need is cumera or consentics.

Oh yeah you see commercials for it all the time people who have crones and a lot of autoimmune disorders

And the thing is it takes forever to get the medication approved and I got it approved on Friday so I had to give myself a shot and I'm in the process of it

But it seems to be getting better, but I hope it doesn't get worse

Matt also last time talked about this on on podcast and he's become like sort of a de facto advocate for people with this type of psoriasis.

So he wants to make sure he gets the I like sharing my journey because a lot of people out there have heard me talk about it and they're

very interested in how I'm doing and you know and obviously on my own podcast I'm

interviewing people so I never get to speak much room.
