Now I want to do something with you.

Before we look at this passage,

I want to take you to one of the Gospels. Look at Mark

6 with me. Mark 6. Because I think this picture is where we can be.

And then I want to talk about the two sides of the identity that you and I need to carry along.

Mark 6, verse 45.

This is after the feeding of the 5,000,

immediately he made his disciples get into the boat

and go before him to the other side to Besseda,

where he had dismissed the crowd.

And after he had taken leave of them,

he went up on the mountain to pray. And when evening came,

the boat was out on the sea, and he was alone on the land. And he saw that they were making headway
