Today is July 30th. The trade deadline has come and went. The Yankees made some moves.

We're going to discuss the aftermath of all of them and then we're going to pivot into the pregame show.

Hello and welcome to talk and Yankees. Deadline is gone. They've got some players. We have a lineup for the game.

So if you don't usually tune into the pregame show, it's usually on a separate podcast feed.

Same YouTube channel, but this is a cross of both because we do want to tidy up the trade deadline and then we're going to go straight into the pregame show so they don't blend into each other.

Jay, how are you doing? James, big baby David. Everyone here to live. A little hybrid. I think we've done this once or twice before I love it.

I mean, crazy day for baseball, crazy couple days for the yanks, man. I mean, have you seen the lineup yet?

No, I haven't. I've heard a bit about it, but I haven't seen it yet. So we'll get there. But I mean, it's just a taste of things to come.

There's two, you know, geo and DJ are a little banged up. So they're not in it. But the lineup still looks good in that.

Like put some lead in my pencil. So we'll talk about all that. The Yankees did go get an arm. So we'll discuss that a little bit. And yeah, I mean, we've been so busy. I haven't done the exhale. I'm going to sit on a couch and watch Yankees baseball tonight.

But I'm excited to get to that point. Hopefully.

I still don't have cable at my house. And I promise Caitlin that we'd unpack some boxes tonight. So I think I'm just going to be laptop. Well, I don't have a relaxing night ahead of me. I don't believe so.

But unpacking boxes. I might go full gummy dump full brainless. I really we were doing talking baseball with Trevor. And I was almost tapping out mentally because I'm just so focused on the type of thoughts that we have here on talking yanks.

And I've seen a lot of people say like in reviews or when explaining to other people like talking yanks is deep. You know about every guy in the 40 man roster. You know about roster moves. And that's like the type of conversation I want to have here about these trades and lineup construction.

And who goes what and who goes where because the last move they made was for Andrew heenie from the angels who, you know, isn't having good results this season.

But pitches innings. Yeah, it's kind of one of those.

You know, I've been messing around a couple times on the internet with foolish baseball Bailey for those of you that are familiar with them. He does fun stuff.

Because you know, there's some numbers that like Andrew heenies a lefty twirls it. He's got some good starts. He's got some bad start. His career numbers end up in a pretty flat location for me that I've got a couple tweets out there that I wasn't the biggest Andrew heenie supporter.

Like in this is where war gets tricky in baseball. He's got a 527 ERA this year 18 starts and that gives him a 1.1 war. Which means he's on close for a two war season from a starting picture.

And Jim you went through the game logs and you know sometimes those don't tell the full story you go through and if you get lit up twice.
