Thank you. Here's Paul and Drew on the will of God. So I want to talk about this weird, mysterious, fear-inducing thing called God's will.

And you make the point of fact you dedicate a chapter to this of finding the will of God

with your feet.

What in the world does that mean?

Right.

Brings to mind some weird images.

Yeah, so like you said, the topic of God's will is a big, scary, mysterious one.

And actually, a lot of things I heard growing up in the church weren't particularly helpful.

I'd have friends that would be like, okay, what you got to do is just like flip the Bible up into a random passage, point down at a verse and God will lead you that way. Well, God maybe can. I don't know. But in general, it's not likely. Probably not the best way to go about it. Or this kind of idea that if you avoid sin carefully enough, then God will

reveal his will for your life. But if you don't, if you mess up one too many times,

sorry, you're going to be on plan B or plan C. When in reality, what I do believe, I've come to to believe I think this is biblical is that as we obey God he leads us

and and that's what I mean by finding God's will with your feet that you're just taking the next step in front of you the next step of faithfulness

even if you don't know exactly where the path is going to lead you.

That's so good.

And that's just been my experience that God leads us as we're obedient to him.
