Hello, Maureen.

So I have a story to start out with, but did you want to start with your news first?

Oh, sure, sure. Start bad news first.

My dog passed away last week, and it's been very, very hard for me.

So I might not be on social media as much.

Yeah, it was really unexpected, but it was really quick and pain-free, and that's all we can ask.

You know, he was a little old man.

Yeah.

But we're not going to hear any more Miles' opinions on cats.

Yeah, unfortunately, we won't have any more of him in the background.

You guys might have heard a little bit of tidbits in the last episode.

He was a great dog.

I've known him for years, and I'm really grateful that I've known him for years, and I'm really grateful to have known him for so long, and he just was a chatterbox and just like the most senile, not senile, neurotic old man I've ever met.

And he brought so much joy and laughter to everybody that knew him.

So, and it's everyone, any, I'm sure everyone who listens knows that a dog is so much more than a just a pet um

miles was part of Maureen's family he was my soulmate yeah so um just hope you guys uh you know we

we were considering uh possibly delaying this episode um we're still kind of undecided, but, you know, this might be a shorter episode.

This might be just not as, you know, up to her caliber.

But we appreciate your guys' understanding and, you know, send love.

Maybe we'll do a little feature out of him on the Twitter, just so you guys could see this little man.

Yeah, he's a very good boy.
