Summary

You know what doesn't get enough kudos? Bags. Big ones, small ones, soft ones, leathery ones. Where would we be without bags? Walking home from the shops, clutching cucumbers to our chest with onions in our armpits, that's where.

Our 63rd podcast is all about great games with some great bags. Paul's been building (and cursing at) stained glass windows in Sagrada, Quinns has been carelessly eroding his car in the amazing Automobiles (see our review of that one here), and this time we remember to have the chat about Orleans that was meant to go the previous episode. Inspired by these three titles, Shut Up & Sit Down's campaign for More Bags In Games begins next week. Please send money now.

Could you give two figs about bags? Are they "Not your bag"? Not a problem! Paul and Quinns also provide some early impressions of the ludicrously pretty Wasteland Express Delivery Service, and answer a reader mail about why long games lead to a special kind of exhaustion.

Hello and welcome to the very 63rd Shut Up and Sit Down podcast.

0:11.6

I had to think about that a little bit.

0:13.2

A podcast, all about games you could play in the comfort of your own home, on the comfort

0:17.4

of your own table, with the comfort of your own friends, card games, board games, role-playing games,

0:22.3

other kinds of games that don't quite fit into other categories,

0:25.1

but are interesting and we just want to cover.

0:26.8

Isn't that right, my colleague, who is with me, Quentin Smith?

0:30.0

That is correct, my colleague, Paul Dean.

0:32.2

I'll tell you what, I love nothing more than the comfort of my own friends.

0:36.1

It's at least twice as good as the comfort of other

0:39.1

people's friends. I find that strangers will sometimes struggle to offer comfort, but also

0:45.4

offer the best comfort. Would you agree with that? I think if you have statistically measured

0:50.4

that comfort, then you know better than anybody. What games should we talk about today?

0:56.2

We have got quite the show coming up. We are going to talk about, oh my God, my notes are in front

1:02.2

of me. I'm professional. You are going to be talking about dice-placing stained glass making

1:07.7

game, Sagrada. You're going to be escaping from 100 million BC, the new Kevin Wilson game.

1:14.9

I guess I am.

1:15.9

There's something in the document here that just reads Zelda Escape Room slash Big Puzzle Challenge.

1:20.9

So that sounds...

1:22.7

We'll find out what that is later.

1:24.8

That happens.

1:25.2

As for me, I have been playing the new I want to say pandasaurus game.
