One of the things that you talk about in your book is the value of presence.

So do two things for me.

First, give me the, your understanding of the theology of presence in scripture. Oh, boy. And I mean, you've got the MA. You can do this. And then let's,

let's apply that to the average single person at university, the mom or dad, the neighbor, the citizen, the member of the body of Christ.

Yeah.

Well, I mean, presence all throughout scripture, I think is so crucial.

But the main thing is that God was incarnate in the person of Jesus, God the Son. And of course,

primarily why did Jesus have to come to earth? Well, to die for our sins, right? A phantom

Messiah couldn't do that. But I also think it has so many implications for how we do ministry, how we do life, the fact that

Jesus was physically present on earth, right? And his ministry, when you look at his ministry,

man, he was mixing it up with people. He wasn't like a lot of thinkers throughout history. He wasn't

someone who holed up in a tower somewhere and wrote beautiful treaties to give to the world.

He was with people.
