0:16.0	And today I want to share with you my review of a recent documentary about Father James

0:22.5	The documentary is called Building a Bridge.
0:24.9	That's the same title as the book he put out a few years ago that was re-released as

0:29.8	And the documentary is what I thought it would be.
0:33.8	It's basically a puff piece designed to build a Father Martin.
0:38.2	It's not so much a documentary.
0:40.0	It really borders more on propaganda.
0:43.4	It really paints Father Martin with kind of a one-dimensional portrait as just this really
0:48.9	kind person who is just trying to tell people Catholics to be kind to people who identify
0:56.5	as LGBT.
0:58.1	And for some reason, there's always Catholics who are mad at him on the internet.
1:01.8	That's basically the documentary.
1:03.4	I think it's about an hour and 40 minutes long.
1:06.3	It could have been a lot shorter.
1:08.2	So in that respect, there were many things about the documentary that I thought it would
1:13.4	be the case.
1:14.8	And so I wasn't really surprised.
