like my co-host, Justin Pennick. And today we are starting off with the New York

Giant's fifth round pick, Eric Gray, the running back at Oklahoma, who's five foot nine

two hundred seven pounds. Justin, he almost had 1400 rushing yards last year, a little

over 200 receiving yards was truly a really, really good back, a good patient's vision

back for Oklahoma. And I think there's stuff that needs to be developed about his game.

He doesn't have like the athleticism to really pop off and that's why I felt to the fifth

round. But I still do think this guy can be a useful back who can handle some volume

in the NFL. Yeah, I agree. Eric Gray, this past year was the 11th running back taken

in the NFL draft. Here are his rankings and key categories compared to running backs that

are taken before him. Yards after contact per tenth, he was seventh, runs of 10 plus yards,

he was third, runs of 15 plus yards, he was tied for third, first downs, he was third.

This tackles force, which this is a big one. He was sixth, yards per out run, even

as a receiver, he was fourth. Eric Gray, even though he was the 11th running back taken

in the draft, I can confidently say that Eric Gray is not the 11th ranked or 11th best

running back in this past year's draft. The giant certainly did get a top 10, maybe even

top seven running back from this year's draft class. And they got him a little later.

Let's just talk about him as a player. He has, to me, he has good patience and vision

with making the first guy miss on his cut. That's what he showed in college. Like, I think

he does it consistently. Now, the two main reasons I think that he went later, little on

the older side and he's not a great athlete or just like elusive, right? Like he's, he

lives between the tackles. He's not going to like, you know, turn a 15-yard play into
