Listen, Jesus is saying,

unity is not the result of sameness.

Unity is what happens in the face of difference.

Because God has created that difference.

You see, you can't just say,

I'm left to struggle.

I wanted you last night to feel the pain of the struggle.

Because I think it's important to be that honest.

But I want you today to get a hold of the grace that you have been given for the struggle.

Think right now with me.

I want you to do this of the toughest person in your life.

Think of the person that it's hardest for you to be kind toward.

The person that you love to serve the least.
