I want to thank everybody that wrote in about the EVs and hybrids. There's some passionate people. We got a lot of messages across the multitude of ways that people can contact us. I did have to have a laugh though because within the space of five minutes we'd gotten two messages

one saying oh yeah hybrids you don't need to charge those at all ever another one saying you need to

charge your hybrids well there's a dead the one guy I forget who wrote in said that we were both right and we were both

wrong so because I do remember hearing the term plug-in hybrid yeah that was a thing

so apparently they can run off like normal power, which I have power in my garage because I'm fancy like that. So I could conceivably get one of those. Here's the thing though. I have a completely paid off car. We hardly ever drive so I don't use any gas. It makes no sense for me to sell what I've got to get a hybrid at this point. But yeah, next car.

Well, you might be stuck with gas by then because I don't know if you're reading all of the the blowback. I think Norway is coming out saying, yeah, this might not have been the best idea we may have wanted to take those

subsidies and put them into I don't know public transportation so public transport good I also

this debate has obviously been raging since we last talked about it everywhere and I remember hearing something on NPR that was like you really want to save the planet take all that money and plant more trees because they suck more carbon out of the atmosphere than anything we're doing.

Yeah, yeah. It was another one I saw that some company tried to set up an electronic, or not electronic, an electric trucking company to put in 30 trucks and the city came

back saying, you're out of your mind, that's like three times the power the entire town draws just to charge your trucks.

So yeah, I think we're going to be stuck with liquid dinosaurs for quite some time.

Well, if you've got a Tesla near an Elon Stan, you've got some good news this week, though.

Tesla's autopilot was found not to be the fault for the fatal 2019 Model 3 crash crash according to a jury.

So basically even though the defense argued that it's not a true

autopilot, it's been marketed as an autopilot, it could be, you know,

it's not really there, it's experimental software, blah, blah, blah, it's in beta, etc.

What they found out is we can't prove whether it was on autopilot or not when this guy died.
