Summary

The title of this episode is pulled from a comedy album released in 1974. More importantly, it is called “Everything You Know Is Wrong”. Back then I had no idea that what I accepted as normal everyday life was in fact far from reality. So far from reality, that had I been told then what I know now, I likely would have dismissed the information as just more comedy–and ripped another bong hit. In the 1970s we used to turn on the TV, turn off the sound, and then play the comedy album on a turntable and wait for the weird synchronicities to emerge. We called it “Playing Stoner TV” and laughed for hours, thoroughly amused and proud to be “The Cool Kids”.
