Hello, welcome to another edition of the Not the Top 20 podcast. My name's Ali Maxwell and opposite me and slightly to the right, interesting seating arrangement this time is George Ellick and we are talking all things EFL as always. It's been a couple of weeks since we last spoke and since then I think it's fair to say that

plenty has happened as it always will do at this stage of the season and so earlier on Twitter

I teased an idea for this podcast which would be to look at some alternative EFL awards with

the EFL awards themselves coming up this Sunday.

We are still going to do that.

We're going to do that early next week after the awards themselves.

We'll let the EFL get their awards out the way before we start making some silly ones of our own.

But George, we are going to the awards on Sunday.

And we had the FSF Awards, which we were up for back in December. That was us putting our smart gear on and going and you know we we had the FSF awards which we were up for back in

do it at the EFL Awards obviously not up for an award but really nice to have been

invited definitely courtesy of the fine people at football manager so you know I can't

imagine we're speaking to anyone right now who hasn't tried football manager in the past but if you haven't then we should do our dues and say that you should

um yeah how cool is that for you know we met when we were about 10 11 years old and we were

obsessed with football manager for at least the first decade of our friendship so it's pretty

cool looking back that that they've um they've chosen us to go with them sit on their table. Don't try and make it sound like we're not still.

We're maybe in our mid-20s, but every year you say, I just, don't say that.

I was going to say, it's good.

It bodes well for foot manager.

Every year you say, okay, I think this is my last year.

I'm not sure I'll get the new game.
