0:54.9	Well, the last few days have given a sobering reality check to anyone imagining that Ukraine was going to make any immediate dramatic gains in its newly launched offensive. In the second week of operations,
1:00.9	progress is slow, unspectacular, and is coming at a cost. The overall picture is of a slogging

1:29.3	and despite the fact that they're performing perhaps better than expected,
1:32.9	they're still suffering considerably in the process.
1:36.4	Ukrainian attacks are chewing up men and equipment
1:38.7	and knocking down some of the Russians scarce and hard-to-replace air assets,
1:43.9	particularly I'm thinking of the
1:45.8	CA-52 alligator attack helicopters. It's obviously still early days. Ukrainian deputy
1:52.4	defense minister Hannah Malia reported on June the 19th that Ukrainian operations have several
1:58.9	tasks. They're not solely focused on liberating territory.
2:02.9	And the Ukrainian forces have yet to start the main phase of counter-offensive operations.
2:09.0	But I think we're beginning to see a sort of pattern developing, aren't we here, so?
