Thank you so much for checking out this episode of Cruise Radio. Very happy to have you here. Just a few more weeks left of 2020. Be so happy to put this behind us. So Sherry Laskin is here with Cruise News and a review of Norwegian epic this week. So we'll jump right to Sherry. Hey there. Hi, Doug. So Carnival Cruise Line is pushing back

0:39.7

the return for a few ships. Yeah, they just announced plans to send three ships into Dry Dock.

0:45.8

The ships that are affected include Carnival Magic and those cruises have been canceled through

0:50.4

September 21st. Carnival Paradise cruises are canceled through May 31st, and finally,

0:56.4

Carnival Valor is canceled through September 11th. And as you might expect, Carnival's offering,

1:34.5

and then this week, Carnival Breeze moved from the Bahamas where it's been floating offshore

1:39.0

for a few months to Port Miami. Eventually, when the ship does meet all of the CDC requirements, it's supposed to head

1:46.0

north to port Canaveral. But like everything else in the cruise world lately, you never know

1:51.8

if plans can change. So this next story is two parts, because one, Royal Caribbean debuted their

1:58.1

contact tracing device called the tracelet. So first, tell us about this.

2:03.1

Yeah, so Royal Caribbean trademarked the word tracelet a while ago. And this is for their new

2:08.5

wristband that's intended, like you said, to assist in contact tracing aboard the ships.
