It's our last show of the year, which means we do our garbage year in review where I do no research

and just reminds me of all the stuff I've been trying to forget for the entire year.

And gang, this year was rough.

I want to thank as ever the wonderful Kate McDonald, my long-time friend who always

helps me with this.

She did most of the good stuff.

And I'm very jealous and grateful because this was a grind.

This is a week of work. Trust me, don't worry. I'm the biggest baby when I actually have to do work for this podcast. I was so whiny about it, but it's just so deeply depressing. I did just not do any mass shootings. Hey, good. That got to be too much really quickly. It's America.

And there was another one and I was just like, you know, we're not going to do that. So if I skip stuff, it's either because I missed it or I intentionally skipped it. Intentionally decided we don't need to rehash that. So as ever, I have a spreadsheet here. Love my spreadsheets. We have our wine. Uh-huh. We have, and I'm just going to go through.

It's only going to get worse. It's like, yeah. Yeah. I don't know why some people think, well, you know, second term, he'll be more restrained. He'll be less of whatever the hell he is. It's like, no, he'll be worse. And he's going to be surrounded by people even worse.
