Mac Power users episode 614, the 2021 MPU gift guide.

Hello and welcome back to Mac Power users. My name is Stephen Hackett. I'm joined as always by

my friend and yours, Mr. David Sparks. Ho, ho, Ho Stephen. How are you? How is it time for this

again? I find this very upsetting. Are you one of those guys that gets cranky about the Christmas

decorations coming out early? Is that it? Well, yes, but my wife is too. And so we generally what we

do is like the Saturday after Thanksgiving will get the stuff out. You know, we get little kids,

right? So they're excited about it. But the people on my street who were like putting out like

Christmas stuff this weekend as like drove by is like, what are you doing? It's too soon for

that. What did Halloween become the gateway for the holidays? Well, I am. I have to admit,

I'm with them. Man, I love getting the decorations out for me. The holidays are more about the

anticipation than the event in a lot of ways. I love because all the little kids around me,

I just love to get them completely jacked up. And so we have a big tree and we put it up every year.

I want to put it up. I have this dream of putting it up while the trigger treaters are arriving

like on Halloween night. Like, so when we open the door to give them candy, you can hear

Christmas carols playing and we're decorating a tree. So you would hate me as your neighbor. But

in reality, we usually don't get it up till after Thanksgiving either because we're too busy. But

yeah, I don't have a problem with starting it early. It puts a lot of people in my good mood. There's

a lot of great music. I only listened to this time of year. So let's get started. But

we've been doing this holiday gift guide at Mac Paris for a long time. And we wanted to get it out

this year before the Thanksgiving break because I know a lot of people are either looking to buy gifts

or receive gifts. And you know, Stephen and I have been doing the research, which means we've

been spending money ourselves over the last year. And we've been trying things out. And
