What's up bears fans and welcome to another episode of the Chicago audible podcast I'm your host Nicholas Moriano on this cold Thursday night.

And if you're watching this podcast obviously you can see I'm not alone and joined by the one and only Mason West Mason what's going on my man.

It's been a little while it was nice rest it was kind of cool sitting back watching some football last Sunday and not stressing about the bears and what the progress looks like and everything like that and just enjoying just enjoying watching the game again for a while but it is nice again to get back on the horse.

Part of me almost wishes that the bears had played last week is you know build on the momentum which is weird came on coming up a loss that you could say that there was momentum but.

It's it's good to be back you know wish it was a little warmer out got a on a car starter installed last week so I'm pumped about that I've been using it like crazy last three days and so you know no more cold car for me.

Mason I just got a car starter put in on Monday actually so I just got a new car and had to put that's that's like a must have especially now that the weather is turned and you know you wake up you see your breath in the morning that there's frost on the windows.

Put on that the remote starting it's it's a life changer man like I get to go to gym because I know that start my car not have to go out there but I know exactly that feeling and I'm sure a bunch of our listeners do as well but for those wondering where the heck is will to it well like Matt naggy a couple weeks ago I can't tell you were disclosed that information but as many of you know he and his wife.

We're expecting a baby and earlier this week the will to it family added a new member to the team so.

And I'm not going to get into all the specifics but everything is going well for will and his family is an exciting time so that's that's kind of the status status update on will and where is that but you know if you see if you want to shoot him a message on social media I'm sure he'll appreciate that but what also is exciting is that we do get some bears football back after a week

and you know Mason I kind of want to touch on what you mentioned earlier like that momentum even though the bears had lost the offense seemed to have found something in that second half against Pittsburgh Steelers Justin Fields was making some special plays but I completely agree with you if the I kind of wanted the bears to play last week just to see if they could build off of that and we and I'll just kind of put the the stats out there.

I just haven't won coming off a by week since 2013 so it's not just a streak that is gone on through the mat naggy era this is like something where the bears have consistently struggled with and it was back in it was 2013 against the green Bay Packers.

I believe Josh McCown was a quarterback in that game so it's been a while and now we're in this situation right now where the bears are coming off a by week and the obviously will face a Baltimore

Davis and that's what this show is going to be about but before we get into this preview matchup just want to touch on a couple of topics that have been going on around the bears.

I think we'll start with number one, Kevin Jenkins being activated in terms of 21 day window to see where his status is at in terms of playing this year.

Mason what do you make of maybe Kevin Jenkins being activated and kind of where you think he's going to play at.
