How's it going?

0:19.0

Welcome to this week's episode of Cruise Radio, a review of Carnival Glory this week.

And staff writer Richard Sims is here with Cruise News. Jumping right to Richard. Hey, buddy.

0:28.6

Hey, thanks for having me. Carnival Cruise Line has started restaffing their ships.

0:33.3

This is sort of an opposite day kind of story. big market for the cruise lines, that kind of reported that some of their people had been called

and they won't be able to start their duties or anything until they get through that quarantine period.

1:25.6

But this is a good sign.

1:33.4

This is another of those signs that slowly but surely we're starting to see signs that, you know, maybe by the end of the year,

1:39.5

at least Carnival will have some ships sailing. And Florida's governor said he is on board with bringing cruise ships and cruise jobs back. Not exactly a shocker that the, you know, that, that Governor DeSantis is anxious to get

1:48.9

cruise lines back because they are losing millions and millions and millions of dollars.

1:53.8

It's terrible on the economy.

1:55.9

What will be interesting is, you know, as we head into this next few days, there's going to be a lot of campaigning by both
