Today we're chatting with screenwriter Sean Prissant,

whose resume includes features, shorts, and TV in all genres

from Multicam sitcoms to reality competition to

prestige crime shows. So with such a broad resume Sean can address

writers room specifics at every level. Welcome to the show, Sean.

Sean has agreed to talk about his week or what we like to call adventures in screenwriting.

So Lauren, you go first to help Sean ease into the water.

Okay, so my week as usual was very up and down. The beginning of the week I was struggling with a lot of negative self-talk, right, and having a hard time get into the zone of being able to actually do the work I had to do.

And part of it is that I lost track of the progress that I've been making and where I am.
