Well, welcome to the cart fishing podcast, episode 61. I forgot that right?

I think it is, yeah, it sounds about right. How does it sound

about right? Is it because you've had to endure me for long periods of time? Feels about 60 episodes.

So yeah, 61 would be true. I better switch my phone off actually as I'm talking because

I'm guessing that this may interfere. So apologies. Terribly organised. Yeah, after 61 episodes, I always say

at the start of the podcast, put it on aeroplane mode. You do, yeah, yeah, yeah. So, uh, yeah,

that hasn't worked, does it? Yeah, hasn't, mate. But he's on now. He's on there. And once more,

we are out, well, I'm fishing. Mike's not fishing. Mike is, uh, sat next to me and we're down on Blue Water in the Cotswolds.

Yep.

And I thought, right, with cheeky not to put a couple of rods out.

So I've dispatched a couple, both on PVA bags.

And before we even switched on, I had a take, didn't I?

Well, mate, it was a hell of a cast.

You were casting up to a little spot next to some weed.

And do you know when one of those casts fly out, I thought that it was the most perfect cast ever.

And I thought you're never getting that like that tight again. And it went off within what?

A minute? Two minutes. A couple of minutes went off. yeah, really, really tight to the reed bed. And it was a lucky cast.

It was one of them that, you know, when you sailor out there, you're thinking, oh, I'm

enough to stop it.

But then it started to just swing round with a little bit of wind.

And, yeah, plopped sort of six inches from the reeds, which was perfect.

And off its trundled but unfortunately i lost that fish um i don't think it's a huge one um couldn't tell really but
