Some violence continues to plague this nation as a shadow pandemic.

Last year, 41,000 people were killed and many more badly named from guns.

In the past month alone, we've seen horrific acts of violence in Atlanta and Boulder.

And just yesterday, in Indianapolis, another shooting at a FedEx facility.

At least eight people were shot and killed in a shooting late Thursday night at a FedEx

facility near the airport in Minneapolis.

There are preliminary search of the grounds inside and out.

We have located eight people at the scene with injuries consistent to gunshot wounds.

Those eight were pronounced deceased here at the scene.

We have been made aware of multiple other people with injuries who have been transported

to local hospitals or who have transported themselves to local hospitals.

Each time it happens, we've pledged ourselves that it will not happen again.

A lot of these people who were here are good people.

That we must do something about it.

Not to mention the usual empty offering of thoughts and prayers as if they'll stop a bullet

or bring back the dead.

Power heard ten shots from you in front of the entrance.

I see a man, a hooded figure.

I was unable to see his face in detail.

However, the man did have an AR in his hand.

He started shouting and then he started firing at random directions.
