Hello, this is Paul McKenna, and welcome to the positivity podcast.

My objective is to interview the most interesting people in the world,

and in the next 30 minutes, get insights and even discover how it is that they do what they do,

what makes them unique and fascinating,

their success mindset, and certainly what keeps them positive.

My guest today is an actress, comedian, best-selling author and mental health campaigner.

She has a masters from Oxford in mental health.

I'm talking today with Ruby Wax.

Out of a sense of revenge, I became successful.

I had no talent.

Nobody was going to stop me.

Sometimes I find myself locked in somebody's view of me.

So they look at me expectantly like I'm going to say something funny.

And if I, the oxytocin doesn't pour and that when you're funny, it comes out of love.

The human has to start to learn, what do I need? They do it in Finland. I think they do it here.

What do I actually need? When is it enough? If we concentrate on that, we won't hoard the world so much.

Acts of kindness create that oxytocin. Now imagine everybody's got that.

You'll stop yelling about the politicians and change it.

Community can really overthrow this whole thing.

There's digging, and then there's super digging.
