That's what we're going to talk about today on the Beginners Garden podcast.

I know one thing that I really appreciate about other gardeners and hearing their stories is what they learn from year to year. And that is one thing that is so

0:45.4

much fun about gardening is you never get to a point where you know it all. Every year is a learning

0:51.4

experience and every year we get the opportunity to test new things in our

0:56.4

gardens. We get to hear what other people are experiencing and we get to test it and see if we

1:02.4

get the same results in our gardens. And so what I wanted to do with this podcast episode,

1:07.8

just like I did in a one, a few episodes back where I talked about lessons from my

1:13.4

spring garden is I wanted to bring you a few lessons that I learned from my summer garden this

1:19.9

1:26.3

1:35.8

some things to the test, specifically when it came to my tomato crops, my corn crops,

1:40.9

even my squash and zucchini crops. So my hope is that you can just glean some information

1:46.5

from what I experienced in my garden and then decide if you want to test it out in yours.

1:52.8

One thing that I have learned from so many of you guys in the Beginners Garden Shortcut

1:57.2

Facebook group, which is free and you definitely need to go and join there,

2:01.4

is that a lot of us have different experiences based on where we live.

2:06.3

So I'm learning more and more that there's no one size fits all in lots of different things

2:12.0

that we do in our garden.

2:13.5

And so that's why I want to tell you to take what I've learned in my garden this year
