0:00.0 | The Bible Study Podcast, episode 61. |
0:04.7 | This is the 10th episode in our series on the Book of Romans, |
0:07.9 | in a series I'm calling Christianity 101. |
0:18.4 | Welcome to the Bible study podcast. |
0:20.5 | I'm your host, Chris Christensen. We're not going to get all the way through Chapter 8 today because Chapter 8 is one of those really terrific chapters. That is one of the reasons that personally I wanted to study the Book of Romans. And so we're going to slow down a little bit and savor some of the great verses in here. |

1:26.1 | sinful man to be a sin offering. |
1:28.7 | And so he condemned sin in sinful man in order that the righteous requirements of the law |
1:34.5 | might be fully met in us who do not live according to the sinful nature, but according to the |
1:40.2 | spirit. |
1:41.8 | So the first verse here is good news. That basically, although Paul started on what |
1:48.1 | could be considered rather depressing few chapters where Paul says that all have sinned and fallen short |
1:53.7 | of the glory of God and the wages of sin or death. But he says now here that because Christ has |
