We have been doing some deep dives into nonprofits and our clients that serve nonprofits,

because as we have worked with so many different types of entrepreneurs together over the last

almost five years, we're seeing, you know, some special things that come up in the nonprofit

realm. And you and I both have some background in either working for nonprofits or serving a

nonprofit or consulting with nonprofits. So we have like experienced some of

this as well. Today I thought it would be interesting to dive into how funding is different.

And even saying the word funding is is a nonprofit word, right? How money comes into the organization differently than it does in, say,

a similar sized corporation, like a for-profit company, and how that impacts consultants and things,

just some layers that we could peel back about things that they need to be thinking about and just how

things that they should keep top of mind in the sales cycle and also when they are looking

to renew their contracts. I love this topic because I think it's something that it really is so

different in the nonprofit world. So understanding that the different

dynamics at play is really critical in terms of knowing how to manage and navigate those

relationships. So what would you say is the biggest difference you see in terms of funding?

Well, in for-profit companies, we are selling something.

And so we are selling something and other parties are buying it.

In the nonprofit world, unless it's a social enterprise organization,
