0:49.5	So a popular Carnival Cruise director has announced his retirement. Yeah, so in a surprise move, Carnival's longtime cruise director, Matt Mitchum,
0:59.1	decided it was time to retire from his 14-year career with Carnival.
1:03.5	Even though Mitchum was assigned to be the cruise director aboard the new Mardi Gras in 2021,
1:09.6	for reasons yet unknown, he turned in his resignation with Carnival last week.
1:15.1	While remaining vague as to his reasons for moving on,
1:18.2	he revealed that Mike Pack, cruise director on Carnival Horizon,
1:22.1	would take over his intended role on Mardi Gras.
