This is like months after we recorded this episode.

We wanted to come on here because our dear, dear friend, friend of the pod, but friend of life, friend of comedy, friend of the middle, just absolutely

treasure of a person, Pat Finn. You might better know him as Bill Norwood, but he was also in

everything he's had, he had the most illustrious career, Pat Finn. He passed away, passed away last week, and we just wanted to come on

and pay our respects, let you guys know, if you didn't know. If you didn't know. I mean, Pat is the kind of

person. Can I just read really quickly the state, which I think encapsulates him quite well.

So his wife, I assume it's his wife, or maybe it was the family who put this all together.

But they issued a statement after he died.

And the literal first line is, Pat never met a stranger, only friends he didn't know yet.

And if that doesn't encapsulate Pat Finn, I don't know what else could.

It's just, we talk about losing a good one.

I texted Neil about it, obviously, because they were very, very close.

In real life, they'd know each other for years and years and years.

And all he said was, we lost a good one.

Yeah.

And it's just true.

It's just he was just a light, just a shiny, shiny bright light.

And we had the, we had the privilege of, I mean, we had the privilege of working with him for nine years.
