coronavirus is over Jason. Thank God. Unless you pay attention to half the doctors on Twitter

that are screaming. Shut up. Fucking hell. No, it's not quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet, quiet.

I'm going to be over here with my head in the sand. Now shut up. Yes. But most states have now

halted the use of Google and Apple's COVID-19 exposure notification system that frankly nobody was

using anyways. Nope. But you will no longer get alerts if you approach someone who tested positive

and reported their results. This is unfortunate. I don't know why you shut it off. I mean, I guess

money. Yeah, servers, you know, yeah, California and other states chalk up the decision to a combination

of vaccines, why immunity and effective treatments? So only 26 states actually released apps to make

full use of notifications and just 36 million Americans that either installed an app or enabled

exposure notifications express as of May 2021. Anyways, and half these protocols didn't speak to

each other. So if you're traveling from one state to another, they didn't talk to each other. Anyways,

basically, these things were useless. There's some evidence that it prevented cases,

watching states app may have prevented 5,500 cases in its first four months. But most of the

population as we stated wasn't sharing their data anyways. You know, hopefully something will

come out of this maybe next time around knock on wood, not in my lifetime or my sons now that I

have to think about that. They'll actually roll out something nationwide right away. Instead of

talking about. Yeah, we'll see. We'll see. My roommate actually had that set up and was more

confused by the notification that it was shutting off. Right. Totally forgot what it was.
