Summary

Today I sit down with film maker Justin Kreutzmann and talk all about his new documentary film Let There Be Drums.

This mans father Bill is of course the drummer for the Grateful Dead so Justin has been around Musicians and Drums all his life. The film is just fantastic and really dives into a celebration of some of our great drummers in the world of Rock N Roll.

Justin has worked on some incredible projects throughout his life including the masterpiece Dead Doc called Long Strange Trip.

1:05.6	Let There Be Talk. And my man today, filmmaker Justin Kreitzman, son of Bill Kreitzman from the
1:13.3	Grateful Dead has made a fantastic documentary film on a bunch of great drummers and their lives and
1:21.4	their families and everything called Let There Be Drums. It is not out yet, but it will be soon. And I
1:27.6	got the sea a little screener of it. And I was blown away by it. And I had to have Justin on right
1:34.5	away. And holy shit, this guy has lived the rock and roll life. He's been around the Grateful Dead
1:41.6	his entire life. Of course, his dad was the and still is the drummer of dead and co Grateful Dead and
1:47.8	all those Billy and the kids and all that. If you haven't read Bill Kreitzman's book, oh my god,
1:54.8	dig into that. But Justin, holy shit, this guy has made a name for himself in the documentary
2:04.4	rock and roll film world. And I got to tell you, let me give you a little rundown of some of the
2:10.2	stuff that he did. He worked on the incredible Grateful Dead documentary long strange trip.
2:17.8	The Who fragments. He's also worked on the bachelor from 2015 to right now. I've never seen the
2:26.2	bachelor, but I know it's one of the biggest shows in the planet on the planet. I am fucking
2:33.2	fucking this intro up. I don't care though. It's it's natural and organic. It's real. This is how it
2:41.8	comes out sometimes. Anyway, tons and tons of great rock and roll projects he has been involved with.
