Did it made me think like, yeah, he doesn't really. He's like there. He's penciled in as a starting center field or cashman told us that.

Elzberg is going to try to steal his job. But why? No, it is. It's his. His best is clearly better than Elzberg's best at this point. I mean, even gardener's best debatably. I mean, yet when he's right. Hicks, Hicks is a stud. I think the problem is Hicks is base.

His Hicks is baseline is super low. And he hasn't been consistent yet. And like if Hicks throws up a bad season this year, like a 220 10 home runs, like sad sucks. Obviously.

But then he becomes like a blip on Yankee radar history. Like we look back in 10 years and we're like, wow, I forgot how much of a stud Aaron Hicks was for that.

300 at bats, 301 15 homers, 52 RBI's 10 steals a 372 OVP. So this is, you know, his story is pretty cool. He just figured out later in life. Right. And I mean, he's 27. So like figuring it out isn't the most ridiculous thing at 27.

I mean, you look at Jose Batista things like that, not that I'm comparing him to him. But the reason why this guy gets so much.

The Jose Batista did steroids. So right. Future steroids. Future steroids.

He played an 88 games, 15 homeruns, 52 RBI. So if you extrapolate this, the dude hits like he comes close to being a 270 hitter, a 370 OVP guy, almost 30 homeruns, 100 RBI's and 20 steals over a full season with essentially gogal of defense.

So like the sky's the limit, but also the floor's the limit. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's like a wild tear, a wild thing. Don't know what you have. Like you just said, ceilings high floors low.

So like, the doesn't feel like a Yankee didn't come up through our system, we traded for him and we traded nothing for him. So it wasn't like Michael Pignato, we just say Michael Pignato, you wanted to be good because we traded what we thought at the time was a good prospect.

We're like, okay, we just traded John Ryan Murphy for Aaron Hicks when that trade happened. Just like, okay, traded for a 4th.

I'll feel that probably won't work out with the fuck cares. But it seems like it may be ease our starting center field or going into the season.
